Along with vinyl records, my other interest is football aka soccer. A fan of the New York Red Bulls for over 10 years, I was recently contacted to be a part of Heineken Soccer’s #RivalryWeek with Major League Soccer. Along with a group of New York Redbulls supporters as well as supporters from NYCFC, we were photographed in our own environment speaking on our club, and what the rivalry meant to us. It was a great time working with MLS again, and a huge shout out to the team and photographer Erin Glover for coming through the Greenville Studios to take photos and interview me for this prestigious event. I’m a proud supporter of the club, and am honored they chose me to give my thoughts on the Hudson River Derby. New York is definitely RED. Check out the story here.

For your reading pleasure, Eilon Paz and I interviewed the legendary Keb Darge for Dust & Grooves. He spoke about records, life, love, and much more. This is a special interview for me, as Keb is one of my top DJs of all time. With photos by Paz and an exclusive mix of rockabilly put together by Darge himself, this is an interesting read and listen: a total experience from all angles. Keb is quite the colorful character who shoots from the hip and tells it just like it is. He has been on the DJ scene since the ’70’s, and has changed genres several times, each time becoming a leader in each. I’m really excited to have been involved in this project. Please enjoy.
