Daaaamn Daniel, back at it again at the Fox & Crow! This Friday April 15th, DJ Prestige brings his bag full of 45 heat to the newest venue in The Heights section of Jersey City to spin heavy funk and soul with bandleader Pat Van Dyke. pat brings a full all star band + horn section to play his special brand of funky jazz, soul, and funk tunes to the masses. The last time we did this event it was sold and packed out. The Fox & Crow is a unique venue and has been getting rave reviews of the talent they have been bringing in here to Jersey City. An intimate venue that is a funky good time, come out and support local musicians doing great things in the city of Jersey City. Here are the details:

This Friday night, January 29th, DJ Prestige joins one of the funkiest dudes in New Jersey for a night of funky jazz (full band with a full horn section), and greasy 45s at one of Jersey City’s newest and hottest venues in The Heights section of the city, The Fox & Crow. A newer venue that caters to an eclectic crowd with all kinds of music, DJ Prestige will be bringing his special selection of funky jazz, rare grooves, raw funk & soul, as well as other funky gems to the stage at the Fox & Crow. PVD has been riding a steady wave of success with remixes of his music by DJ Spinna, and music all over television shows such as Hannibal Buress and VH-1, as well as others. We’re excited to share the stage with him once again. Come on out for a funky good time.

On Wednesday July 22nd, FleaMarket Funk joins forces with Sociedad Record’s Christian Martir spinning funky latin, funk, and other assorted funky goodies at the Jungle Fire show at Meridian 23 in NYC. Martir controls the helm at one of the realest Latin labels out there, so you know his record bag will be packed with some great boogaloo, salsa, and much more. The man has heavy crates. Jungle Fire, based out of Los Angeles, will be supporting their first full length record, Tropicoso, and a string of hot 7″ dancers on Colemine Records. The show starts at 9PM, and it’s a $10 cover.
